Just 4.5 years ago, I was at home with my newborn daughter. She was 3 months old and I was thrilled to have a second daughter. Our oldest was just 4 years old at the time and I felt as if our family was complete.
Holding her in my arms, I realized the pain that I went through when I had to put my oldest in day care. My maternity time with her was ending and I was looking at going back to work very soon. That is when I started to relook at Work at Home Opportunities.
I came across AmeriPlan in October of 2004 and it was just different. It was a service based company (meaning no products, no parties, etc). Also, I could do it 100% on the internet. So, I took the leap of faith and joined. In 12 months, I gave myself 5 promotions and several pay increases. At 13 months I was at $25,000/year in repeat residual income. At 23 months, I hit $100,000. And, at 4.5 years, I hit the highest level with the company, National Vice President.
Was it an easy road to travel? Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. It was easier to work from home with my computer around my family's schedule. It was easier to not have to race to work after dropping the kids off at daycare. Time management was sometimes an issue with 2 young kids, but I treated my business like a career and not a hobby and it paid off.
Today I am home with my kids making a six figure income. I was room mom last year for my 3rd grader. I've never missed a field trip, class party, etc. I have the best of both worlds!
And, I have helped others achieve success with this company too. The opportunity isn't for everyone, but those that give it a chance and devote to it, do see the rewards. Some of my team members have fired their boss and are now stay at home moms. I LOVE my new career!!!!
